Messages sent to the Page in Messenger, and posts or comments on the Page wall, can become tickets. Agents reply from Pleased and the customer sees the reply in Facebook — nobody on your team needs to work inside Facebook itself.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Setup is two parts: \u003Cstrong>link the Page\u003C\u002Fstrong> through Meta, then \u003Cstrong>configure\u003C\u002Fstrong> which brand owns the tickets and which Facebook activity should be captured.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Before you begin\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Ch3>Confirm Control in Meta Business Suite\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Do this before you start in Pleased. It is the most common reason a Page fails to connect.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Col>\u003Cli>Open \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fbusiness.facebook.com\u002F\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Meta Business Suite\u003C\u002Fa>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Go to \u003Cstrong>Settings &gt; People\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Select your profile.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Open \u003Cstrong>Business Portfolio Access\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Confirm you have at least \u003Cstrong>Partial Control\u003C\u002Fstrong> for the Page you want to connect.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\u003Ch3>Confirm Pleased Settings\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>The \u003Cstrong>Channel Settings &gt; Facebook Edit\u003C\u002Fstrong> permission in Pleased.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>At least one \u003Cstrong>brand\u003C\u002Fstrong> to assign the Page to. See \u003Ca href=\"..\u002Fworkspace-management\u002Fcreating-brands.md\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Creating brands\u003C\u002Fa>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli class=\"ql-indent-1\">If you cannot see these settings you do not have a high enough role and must ask an admin for assitance.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\u003Ch2>Step 1 — Open Facebook channel settings\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Col>\u003Cli>Go to \u003Cstrong>Settings\u003C\u002Fstrong> in the left-hand menu.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Select \u003Cstrong>Channels\u003C\u002Fstrong>, then \u003Cstrong>Facebook\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>You will then see the following:\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli class=\"ql-indent-1\">\u003Cstrong>Active Pages - \u003C\u002Fstrong>Pages currently linked and able to create tickets\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli class=\"ql-indent-1\">\u003Cstrong>Inactive Pages - \u003C\u002Fstrong>Pages you have deactivated. They stay in the workspace but no longer capture new activity\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\u003Cp>If nothing is connected yet, Active Pages is empty until you add a Page.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Step 2 — Add the Page\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cblockquote>⚠️ \u003Cstrong>Keep existing Facebook Pages ticked\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fblockquote>\u003Cblockquote>When adding a new Page, leave all previously connected Pages selected\u003C\u002Fblockquote>\u003Cblockquote>Unticking an existing Page can disconnect it and s\u003Cstrong>top new tickets arriving in Pleased.com.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fblockquote>\u003Col>\u003Cli>Select \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Read the warning, then select \u003Cstrong>Continue to Meta\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli class=\"ql-indent-1\">Pleased reminds you of two things before sending you to Meta:\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli class=\"ql-indent-2\">\u003Cstrong>Keep already-connected Pages selected.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Meta will ask which Pages Pleased can access. If you already have Pages linked, leave them ticked. Unticking them can unlink those Pages from Pleased.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli class=\"ql-indent-2\">\u003Cstrong>Partial Control is required.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Confirm that before you continue.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Sign in to Facebook if prompted.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Authorise Pleased.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Tick every Page you want Pleased to manage — including any that are already connected.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Confirm.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\u003Cp>You are then returned to Pleased. A confirmation appears when the Pages Pleased could access have been connected. They then show in the \u003Cstrong>Active Pages\u003C\u002Fstrong> list.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>If a Page is missing from the list, you likely do not have control for it. Check Meta Business Suite as described above, then try \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong> again.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Step 3 — Assign a brand and save\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>Connecting the Page is not enough. Tickets are not created until the Page has a brand and capture options are saved.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Col>\u003Cli>On \u003Cstrong>Active Pages\u003C\u002Fstrong>, select \u003Cstrong>Edit\u003C\u002Fstrong> on the Page you just connected.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Choose the \u003Cstrong>brand\u003C\u002Fstrong> that should receive tickets from this Page. The hint under the dropdown is: tickets from Facebook mentions and Direct Messages for this account will be assigned to that brand.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Configure what should become tickets (next step).\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Select \u003Cstrong>Save\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\u003Cp>A brand is required. Save is blocked until one is selected. In the Pages list, a Page without a brand shows \u003Cstrong>Brand not configured\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>To change the brand later: \u003Cstrong>Settings &gt; Channels &gt; Facebook\u003C\u002Fstrong>, \u003Cstrong>Edit\u003C\u002Fstrong> the Page, pick a different brand, save.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Step 4 — Choose what becomes a ticket\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>Each Page has two independent capture options. Turn on only what you want to handle. Both default to off until you enable them.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>Include wall posts\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Converts posts on the Page wall into tickets. When an agent replies on that ticket, the reply is published back on the Facebook wall.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>When wall posts are on, choose how comments on a post are handled:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Add comments from a Post to the same ticket\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Follow-up comments stay on the original ticket, so one post is one conversation\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Create new tickets when comments from a Post\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Each comment becomes its own ticket\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The comment options are disabled until \u003Cstrong>Include wall posts\u003C\u002Fstrong> is on.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>Include Private Messages\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Converts Messenger conversations with the Page into tickets. Replies stay private — the customer receives them in Messenger, not on the public wall.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Turn this on if you want Messenger to be a support inbox.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3>What is not captured\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>Posts, comments or messages written by the Page itself (your own Page activity does not create tickets).\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Pages that have not been saved with a brand.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Pages on the \u003Cstrong>Inactive Pages\u003C\u002Fstrong> tab.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\u003Ch2>Step 5 — Confirm the Page is working\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Col>\u003Cli>From a Facebook account that is \u003Cstrong>not\u003C\u002Fstrong> the Page, send a Messenger message to the Page, or leave a comment on a wall post — matching whichever capture option you enabled.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>In Pleased, open the helpdesk for the brand you assigned.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>You should see a new ticket. The subject looks like \u003Cstrong>Facebook Message from …\u003C\u002Fstrong> or \u003Cstrong>Facebook Comment from …\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Reply on the ticket. The customer should see that reply in Messenger or on the wall, depending on how the conversation started.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\u003Cp>If the ticket does not appear, check out the troubleshooting section at the bottom of this article.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Connecting more than one Page\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>You can connect several Pages. Assign each to the brand that should own its tickets — typically one Page per market or product.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>When you use \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong> again:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Col>\u003Cli>Meta shows every Page you can grant access to.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Leave already-connected Pages ticked.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>Tick the additional Pages.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>After you return to Pleased, \u003Cstrong>Edit\u003C\u002Fstrong> each new Page and assign its brand and capture options.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Fol>\u003Ch2>Deactivate, reactivate and unlink\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>These actions are on each Page in the Facebook settings list.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Deactivate - \u003C\u002Fstrong>The Page moves to \u003Cstrong>Inactive Pages\u003C\u002Fstrong>. It stays in the workspace but stops capturing new messages and posts.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Reactivate - \u003C\u002Fstrong>Moves the Page back to \u003Cstrong>Active Pages\u003C\u002Fstrong> and starts capturing again, using the settings you last saved.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Unlink - \u003C\u002Fstrong>Removes the Page from Pleased entirely. It will not appear on Inactive Pages. To use it again, run \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong> and reconnect it through Meta.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Deactivate if you want to pause a Page without losing the connection. Unlink if you no longer want that Page in this workspace.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Troubleshooting\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>The Page does not appear after connecting.\u003C\u002Fstrong> You do not have control for that Page, or you signed in with a Facebook user that does not administer it. In Meta Business Suite go to \u003Cstrong>Settings &gt; People &gt; your profile &gt; Business Portfolio Access\u003C\u002Fstrong>. Ask someone with Full Control to update your access, or have them complete the connection.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Connection fails with a Full Business Portfolio Access error.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Meta returned no Pages Pleased could use. Fix access in Meta Business Suite, then select \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong> again.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>A Page you already connected disappeared.\u003C\u002Fstrong> When adding another Page, those existing Pages were unticked in Meta. Run \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong> again and keep every Page you still want selected.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>The Page is listed but tickets are not created.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Check all of the following:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>The Page is on \u003Cstrong>Active Pages\u003C\u002Fstrong>, not Inactive.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Edit\u003C\u002Fstrong> the Page: a brand is selected and saved.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Include Private Messages\u003C\u002Fstrong> is on if you are testing Messenger.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Include wall posts\u003C\u002Fstrong> is on if you are testing wall posts or comments.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>You tested from a Facebook account that is \u003Cstrong>not\u003C\u002Fstrong> the Page itself.\u003C\u002Fli>\u003C\u002Ful>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Agents cannot reply, or replies do not appear in Facebook.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Confirm the ticket came from Facebook (Messenger or a wall post\u002Fcomment), that the Page is still Active, and that the person who connected it still has Full Control. If Page admins have changed, reconnect with \u003Cstrong>Add Page\u003C\u002Fstrong>.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>I cannot open Facebook settings.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Your role needs \u003Cstrong>Channel Settings &gt; Facebook Edit\u003C\u002Fstrong>.
